The NSG ArtMuseum opened in March 2016 near Nishi-Kaigan Park in Niigata, as a diverse private art museum that supports artists with ties to the region and is not limited to any particular genre, with the theme of “creating the art of the future.” We have held many exhibitions featuring the works of numerous artists since then and look forward to welcoming you.

The building features modernist architecture and was completed in 1975.

The cherry blossoms in the garden are the first to bloom in Niigata City.
